Operating in Thailand for approximately 30 years, Yoshitake Works (Thailand) Ltd. is an overseas subsidiary of Japanese company Yoshitake Inc., specializing in the manufacture and sales of automatic valves.
Their plant was submerged during the 2011 Thailand floods, but with backup from Japan, their Thai and Japanese staff came together to establish a new plant in just one year. In this way, just as bones become stronger where they’ve broken, Yoshitake Works (Thailand) Ltd. is a company that has grown from overcoming hardship. Placing importance on the identity of Japanese monozukuri, they strive to maintain high quality, manufacturing products under the motto “Made by Yoshitake”.

They first saw Sinto’s equipment at a past exhibition. Feeling a sense of the Japanese quality that they strive for from the parts and the materials Sinto used, they decided to consider Sinto’s equipment the next chance they had. After installing the Sinto equipment, their productivity rose 15%. Previously, they’d had to work overtime to finish each day’s charges, but now they are able to complete that work during regular work hours, reducing the burden on employees. They have been able to use the freed up time to pursue multi-skill development, enacting initiatives to improve employees’ skills and strengthen training.
Aiming to be a company where the way of thinking and the methods of manufacturing are all local.
At Yoshitake Works (Thailand) Ltd., along with localization of workers, they want to build a structure where the way of thinking and the methods of manufacturing are all local. The staff have shown their strong desire for skill improvement and training. Instead of simply using Japan as the standard, they are working to create a company with Thailand as a leading location.
